On Saturday, Arlington’s voters responded overwhelmingly with 72% voting yes in support of the override.
Throughout this campaign, voters asked thoughtful questions about how the town’s finances work, what an override would mean for Arlington, and how it would affect their neighbors. They wanted to know more and help plan for Arlington’s future. These are the conversations necessary to keep Arlington the vibrant, friendly and supportive community it is.
Thank you to every voter who stopped to talk, came out to the polls, and made their voices heard. Thanks to the volunteers who had those conversations, made sure people knew when to vote, and did the work needed to run a campaign.
We are fortunate to live in a community that cares deeply about its people, values its services, and will do the hard work necessary to maintain them.
Thank you for helping keep Arlington strong.
With gratitude,
